Looks similar to Zircon and other clear or transparent gemstones.

Esoteric beliefs and associations...

Associated with the Sun, and the month of April. Diamond also encourages protection, purification and inner peace. It is associated with purity, both spiritual and physical. It is often mistakenly associated with ice and coldness; with it's association with the Sun, it's energy is warm and inviting. When tinted with light blue, it helps with patience, contentment and happiness. In folk lore, a diamond bound to the left arm is a an effective cure for nightmares.

Here's an interesting fact: did you know that X-rays can't pass through diamonds? This is in contrast to all other diamond-like gemstones (natural and synthetic alike).
